More fun at the Beach

Monday to Wednesday, November 5 - 8
I mentioned Barefoot Landing in my last post. It's such a great spot and right next to the campground. There are over 50 shops, 15 restaurants, another 10 snack and coffee shops and of course a huge pond with a number of birds and turtles calling it home.

Barefoot Landing map.

Lulu Buffet's, Jimmy's sister owns this chain. We stopped here for a drink one afternoon. The deck on the back is on the waterfront, the Intercoastal Waterway. A great spot to watch the yachts.

This is Greg Norman's (the golfer) Australian Grille.

The real stars of Barefoot Landing.

Tuesday we went to another State Park. We needed another beach fix.

We drove along the beach road instead of the main highway.

Some pretty nice homes along the beach.

Lots of condos and beach resorts.

With 60 miles of beach there could have been thousands of people here but would never seem crowded.

See all the folks fishing from the pier?

This little guy was ding his own fishing.

Lots of folks fishing, but didn't see anyone catching anything.

The city of Myrtle Beach is not far from the State Park.

The beaches at Myrtle Beach are the nicest we have seen. Long, sandy, clean and uncrowded. perfect! We might get to like hanging out at beaches!

.....and that was Our View From Here!
