So after two days without seeing the ocean we needed to get our fix so we headed toward Punta Gorda about 45 minutes southwest of Arcadia.

| We headed over to the Marketplace on the pier. Lots of Christmas decorations up here. |

| After lunch we headed over to Ponce De Leon Park. On the way we saw lots of these homes had a boat in their back yard. |

| We came to see the Peace River Wildlife Center. They look after injured birds. |
