Last day at Camp Verde

November 30 (Thursday)

Chore day! The first day in nearly a month that we didn't go anywhere. We are leaving Camp Verde Friday so we needed to get some chores done around the trailer. We had laundry to take care of, clean the trailer, put away chairs, barbeque, dump tanks, computer work and get ready to leave in the morning.

We have enjoyed our stay at Zane Grey RV Resort and would definitely stay here again. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The laundry is spotless, the sites are very level and large. The only downside is the proximity to the highway. It gets a bit noisy when the semi trucks hit their engine brakes when coming down the hill. The other negative for some is the distance of the campground to the sites you may want to see. The campground is about eight miles east of the Town of Camp Verde and to get to Sedona or Cottonwood takes about 30 - 40 minutes. We put on a lot of miles touring this area. For us though we appreciated the semi-remoteness of this park.
