Today was the best day to head to the beach.......Virginia Beach that is. We left by about 9 AM expecting the traffic to be light. It was for the most part but we are learning that when you are in the highly populated Northeast there are never any quiet times to travel.

An interesting day at the beach. It was a beautiful fall day to explore the Virginia Beach area. Lots to see around here but unfortunately we won't have time to get back here.

ReplyDeleteWE were at Virginia Beach in 1985 when our kids were small and we did a cross country trip to Richmond, VA to visit Ken's gma. Remember loving the beach, sure there's tons more people there now! The traffic is terrible anywhere back that way! Loving your trip!!
