Sure lots to see and do in Central Texas and we've been trying to see as much of it as we can.
We braved the San Antonio traffic one more time to visit the Market Square on a Saturday. Usually a bit less busy than Sunday yet still live entertainment. The Mercado is the Spanish word for Market. Not sure why they call them markets as although there are dozens of shops nearly all are selling the same stuff, mostly from Mexico but certainly 'made in China' is common. Anyway, quite the party atmosphere and some good restaurants too.

| Lots of 'stuff'! |

We had a great lunch at the Market. I think we spent less than 10 bucks!
Our last week here we toured some of our favorite spots. The wildflowers are at their peak, the trees are filling in and the grass is knee high in most pastures. Great to be in Texas in the spring!

| We stopped to do the laundry in Hondo. It was old but reasonable cost, clean and everything worked well for 18 year old machines. The owner was doing some maintenance and we had a nice chat with him. Better that watching the laundry spin! |

So our time in Central Texas, and the US for that matter is coming to an end......for this year anyway. We are packing up and heading north on Sunday, March 31. Our plan is to try and navigate around the weather and be back in Canada April 5. Of course if the weather dictates otherwise we'll hunker down somewhere and then resume when it's safe. We'll head north to Lubbock, then north into Colorado, bypass Denver and up to Cheyenne, WY. This is were the weather may be a bit of a challenge but eventually we' get through Wyoming and into Billings, Montana. From there we head across to Great Falls, MT and north to the border. I'll provide a summary of our journey once we get power and a good internet connection.
.....and that was Our View From Here!
We hope the weather holds out for your trip north, safe travels. You sure have seen a lot of great sights this winter!
